12:23pm - I offered but cake refused by birthday boss.

A chilled venue. Friendly staff and great coffee. Free wifi. If you can't sleep on a Sunday morning then visit and you may meet the same Sunday crowd. A friendly bunch. Parking is plentiful but the Tritton Road traffic lights cause exit mayhem, making getting out of the car park an issue so I suggest that you park as close to this Starbucks as you can; ideally facing the exit.

It's a Starbucks. They can make the drinks - if the order is transferred correctly to the people making it. The front of house staff seem to lack organisation, and the store cannot cope with a rush of orders.

The high ceiling and lack of any sound damping make it hard to have a conversation. It gets very loud and impossible to hear people at your table without raising your voice.

Could only get filtered coffee, hot chocolate and tea when I went as their machine was broken. Not the best experience, I'm sure it's better when it's all working.

This store has an exceptional team working in harmony together. The beverages and food are always served to a very high standard. However this store is in dire need of a refurbishment. It has not been refurbished since it was built 10+ years ago. Soul Coffee bought the franchise and have done nothing but run the staff and the building into the ground. The sad thing is is that Soul Coffee are applying for planning permission £10,000’s+ to put a new Starbucks I the middle of the carpark with a drive through. It would be nice if they looked after the current store and appreciated the staff more so as they never get credit for the hard work, commitment and dedication that they show. The toilets are absolutely terrible and need a good overhaul just like the store. Why is it that the Lincoln Hugh Street Store got its refurbishment but nothing for this Store? Coffee is great but the scenery inside the store and furnishings etc are shoddy and threadbare.

I feel the game is all but lost in the wilderness of baron broken biscuit land, you know the place....its where the absurd wagon wheels with jam live alongside the jammie dodgers with chocolate instead of jam ( who does that )

While we wait , one has given 5 stars as I frequent this establishment a few times a month and it's lovely. Coffee is nice , place is clean and the loos are always presentable.

Today I am with my boss, its his birthday. He's had a lovely coffee and im sure he will buy me a cake before we leave, ill sit and gaze longingly ever hopeful, I know I should be getting him the cake but it's 2017, I feel my boss enjoying getting me a nice cake, rather than him receiving one, would be much more gratifying, don't you ?
